For this guide we use our example Mathematics course and explain you how you should share files with your students. We will be using our publisher from the Wall.
When you finish writing your post, you should have noticed some icons on the lower part. One of these icons allows you the upload documents, or attach documents to your post.
When you press this icon, a window will appear that allows you to search for the file on your computer. When you find it, just click “Open”.
The selected file should now appear as an attachment to your post.
In case you wish to add more documents, just click on “Add files” and follow the same process.
If you click on the pencil icon you can edit the name of the file.
Just click the “check”- icon the save your changes.
For the sake of this guide we have uploaded another file. When you are ready to publish, just press the button “Post”.
It depends a bit on the amount of documents, their size and your internet conexion how long it will take to publish your post. You should see progress bars for each file and the circle in the top right corner indicates that it is still loading.
If posted successfully it should look something like this:
If you hover your mouse over an attachment, the download button appears.
All the files you publish this way will automatically be saved in your “Library” module of the course.
